What is the ambiguous case (SSA)?
Given two sides and a non-included angle, there may be zero, one, or two valid triangles. This calculator reports when no solution or two solutions exist.
How is triangle type determined?
By the largest angle: acute (all angles < 90°), right (one angle = 90°), or obtuse (one angle > 90°).
Can I enter angles in radians?
Currently, all angles must be entered in degrees. The calculator converts and displays results in degrees.
